I know there are hundreds of stamps floating around on DA. This has nothing to do with DA though. This is something that is so important to me and that I support %100 and more. I've been wanting to make a stamp for weeks about this. It's been nagging at me in the back of my head. I'm not sure if their is already a stamp for this or not. I don't care if their is because you can never support this cause enough!
I am an Animal Rights Activist and believe in helping them as much as possible. Animals are beautiful creatures of God and true angels in this world. It makes me sick when I see Animal cruelty!
Kittens and puppies in cages because people don't care enough to spayed and neutered their pets. Individuals that return their pets because of a million different reasons. If you have to get rid of your pet then for the love of God put a add in the paper. Put up signs and flyers. You don't have to drop them off at the humane society without trying other options first. People who let their cats outside, especially where I live in the desert because coyotes kill small animals. Did you know it's a fact that about half of outdoor cats located anywhere in the world are only excepted to live a max of 3 years? That's pretty sad.
There are a number of ways you can help. Volunteer at a animal shelter, become a foster home for pets, donate to non funded animal charities and organizations. You can also help by just clicking on the link below everyday to help feed a sheltered animal.
So if you agree then please place this stamp on your journal somewhere. They depend on us to help and any little thing as simple as clicking a link that takes less then 30 seconds a day is helping.
Mmmm... See I never understood that. Its okay to kill a chicken but not okay to kill a cat. I mean- isnt that what animal rights is about? Like all of them have the same rights, whether or not one is cute and the other one isnt. I mean, yes a cat is pet, but its still meat. Lots of cultures eat cat and dogs. Personally I dont discrimate... Meat is meat to me. They both have souls, and they both have emotions and feelings, so whats the difference? And I dont mean to like spark a debate or anything I just wanna be like, enlightened in your ways. Cause whenever I ask about this, they get all mad at me
I really don't have a answer to your question. I guess the scenario is whats significant. It's not like you go out and find a chicken to kill and hurt on purpose. I hope not anyways. I've never lived a day of my life without a cat for a pet so all I can say is I love cats and puppies and it hurts me to see them being mistreated. I Know some cultures eat them and I just can't except that. Maybe I am being hypercritical, but I really don;t care right now. I just lost my baby to cancer and adopted another baby. I've seen things I didn;t like in animal shelters and it made me stand up to them. This stamps comes from many different factors going on in my life right now. I'm probably not making much sense either right now. I'm still grieving and not in a right state of mind. If you would like to place the stamp on your journal thats great, but if not thats ok to. Thanks!
