I did this way back on April 30, 2004 This is one of my very first "real" photo manipulations all by myself. My Husband =silentfuneral kept nagging at me to update this and I wanted to re title it anyways so I thought this is a good time as ever to edit and update this one.  I hope you enjoy it.  its beautiful, how do you get it tinted in purple? o_o;;
easy.. go to hue/sat and bring it down so it's black and white. Then go to color balance and click for highlights and bring the blue over about half way. sometimes more or less depending on what I need. This is done in psp7.

Well, with a staircase leading up to heaven, and a girl hesitant to go up it, or one coming back down it. It'd look different, but now I'm hesitant myself, as I don't want it to appear I've copied your idea.
