Wow, that sounds cool. Good luck with that. I hope it works. I have a dreamcatcher hanging up in my bedroom window, and I have a sound machine that I play when I go to bed (with waves, rain, birdsong etc...depending on my mood). It seems to help, although it's probably just my belief in it. I also drink chammomile tea before I settle down and spray my pillow with lavender mist....normally helps to calm my mind before I sleep.
I have a sound therapy thing to! I can't sleep without it. I'm a sucker for the ocean sounds.
Where did you get the lavender mist at? I had a sleep mask that has lavender in it, but I gave it to my mom.
I made it myself...used spring water and lavender essential oil in a pump action bottle. Just have to keep it in a dark place away from sunlight (top draw of my bedside cabinet) so the smell doesn't fade too fast. I've made others with mandarin, neroli and rose essential oils too and they smell great round the house.....Still need a stronger one for the bathroom tho!
I've also got lavender bushes in my garden, and once the summer is over I pick the lavender, dry it out and make sachets for my draws, wardrobe and cupboards. I'm trying to be more environmentally friendly, so I make a lot of stuff for the house rather than buy it (and waste packaging), and use natural remedies for things like cuts (aloe vera leaves) and cleaning products (like vinegar, lemon juice, salt etc...)
I'm not a tree hugger tho, and I don't wear bellbottoms lol
