Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Updates & News

This is a odd request, but am hoping someone can help me. Our neighbor died sometime between New years Eve and January 8th by commuting suicide. His name is John Rayford and goes by the nickname Bud. He lived above us in Windsor court apartments on Cedar Ln. in Knoxville, TN. We are trying very hard to find something, anything on the internet regarding his death. We can't seem to find anything. We have checked Obituaries, the net and Google search. I'm not to good at searching for things and was hoping someone Anyone know where we should look or could find him possibly on the net about what happened. Sean & I knew him and are looking for some closure. Please if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Question hun, how did you find out about his death? And what other info can you give me? Address... or at least the city he died in, a birthdate? So far I'm not finding anything in obits, if he died in Knoxville, there would have to be an obit, even if it's only a couple lines saying how old he was, he died of.. and resided at blah residence.

I'm sorry that you and your husband couldn't find anything about his death. Were there any articles, surrounding his suicide in the paper? My friend, Cheryl, at the place I work at, knew a girl that had commited suicide in her own house, this past weekend ago, and it was really hard because she left behind two little girls and her son. And, even worse, they were born addicted to drugs because their mom had done drugs, while they were in her womb.

Cheryl said that she had known the girl whenever she was younger, and she'd always act out of control.

I know he was born in Alabama and he had a son. Everyone here called him Bud, but his real name is John Redford and he was between 30 and 50 probably.
