How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

This is the Artwork of Ashlie Dawn Nelson. I'm 29 & originally from Bay City, Michigan. I currently live with my Husband Sean AKA silentfuneral in Knoxville, TN who I have been with over 10 years. We were married in Tucson, AZ where I lived from 1999 until 2008. I have 4 furry children with paws & 1 step Daughter, Shonna AKA MisssBarbie

Inside my gallery you will see lots of animation from 100x100 Live Journal icons, 50x50 DA user avatars, website buttons, DA stamps & many other animated goodies. I LOVE working with animation and making things move.

That's not all you will see though. I also enjoy photography, especially nature, cemetery & gothic culture and of course my Furry Babies.

I'm also trying my hand at photo manipulations and have allot of collaborations with my Husband.

Updates & News

Hi everyone, This Thursday I am going into the Hospital for a while. I I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be gone for a while. I'm not sure just how long I will be gone for, but I am finally going to be admitted so I can get the treatment I need to on my knee and ankle.

I will be able to update my facebook and twitter status via my cellphone so I can keep everyone up to date on whats happening with me on those. I suggest everyone add me there.

Sounds like I will be gone for a few months, maybe longer because I will more than likely need surgery on my knee and then I will be transfered to a rehab facility so I can relearn how to walk. I have been bed ridden for the past year now and have gotten so weak from it. I wish I would have just gotten all this over with sooner, but hopefully the next time I come home I will be walking through my front door.

Sean has some manips that we have done over the past few weeks that he will be uploading on my behalf while I'm gone so keep a eye out for those.

I can use all your prayers, healing energy and anything positive you can send my way.

If anyone wants to write me or send me a get well cards here is my address. Sean will bring everything to the hospital for me.
