More Health Issues:
As if I don't have enough problems right now with all my health problems, now I am suffering from a very bad case of
Edema.
The past week I have been so swollen. The tops of my feet are twice their normal size, I had to take my wedding ring off because it was cutting into my skin, the top of my left hand is so swollen I can't make a closed fist or even lightly touch it. The bottoms of my arms are swollen and so sensitive that any pressure on them is so painful. The worse problem though is my belly below my belly button. When I sit up and the rest of my body weight pushes any pressure down on it I just want to cry. It feels like I'm being stabbed in the lower belly and my belly button is swollen closed even.
So after doing some searching on the net I have found out that what I have is Edema and I'm not surprised since I still am pretty much bed ridden with torn ligaments in my knee and a broken ankle.
My Dad was able to get these water pills from his pharmacist though and he mailed them to me. Today is the 4th day I've been on them and I think my feet are getting better, but that's the only result I see. I have a DRs appointment on the 27th, but I might end up having to go to the Hospital before then. My Parents want me to be admitted because I have fluid building up in my lungs to and have shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing really bad.
In worse case scenario it could be something called
Pulmonary Edema. Which is when the heart starts to fail on one side and fluid backs up into your lungs. I pray it's not that and just regular edema.
Pulmonary edema is usually caused by heart failure. As the heart fails, pressure in the veins going through the lungs starts to rise.
As the heart fails, pressure in the veins going through the lungs starts to rise. As the pressure in these blood vessels increases, fluid is pushed into the air spaces (alveoli) in the lungs. This fluid interrupts normal oxygen movement through the lungs, resulting in shortness of breath.
Pulmonary edema may be caused by damage directly to the lung, such as that caused by poisonous gas or severe infection, as a side effect of medications, or the result of major trauma. Lung damage with a buildup of body fluid is also seen in kidney failure. Exercising at very high altitudes can also cause pulmonary edema
Pulmonary edema may also be a complication of a heart attack, leaking or narrowed heart valves (mitral or aortic valves), or any disease of the heart that results in weakening or stiffening of the heart muscle (cardiomyopathy).

Either way I would appreciate any prayers and healing energy anyone is willing to give me at this time. For those of you waiting for your avatars I'm so sorry it's taken me a while to get them done. I promise you that I will try to get them done this weekend.
